Katie Taylor progressed to the semi finals of the 4th women's European Union Championships following a quarter final win in Bulgaria against Italian lightweight Cordio Giacoma 14-1 in the quarter final in Pazardjik, Bulgaria
Katie Taylor will now meet Cindy Orain of France in the semi final in a repeat of the 2008 European Union final in Liverpool which Katie Taylor won 11-0.
